Nadine Devilme and "miracle baby"
daughetr Jenny. Baby Jenny was
only three months old when she was
trapped under the earthquake rubble
for five days before she was rescued.
BASF is a proud sponsor of His House Children's Home - an organization committed to providing residential care for abused, neglected and drug exposed children in a campus home-like setting, while restoring their emotional and physical well being in a loving and nurturing environment.
His House is actually the only federally-appointed location in Miami-Dade to receive and care for refugee children of the Haitian earthquake, taking more than 400 Haitian orphans, in addition to Miami-Dade's foster and orphan children received on a general basis.
Since BASF's partnership with His House earlier this year, it has made several monetary donations contributing to the renovation of the facility.
On September 11, 2010, BASF members participated in a full day of service - contributing their building skills for renovating a cottage. To see photos from this year's event, visit our photo gallery.
